York Condos Downtown Markham

The Province of Ontario has said, “Yes to York”, and Markham Centre – home to Downtown Markham – will be the site of York University’s new campus. The expansion is a partnership between York University, Seneca College, the City of Markham, the Regional Municipality of York and the Province of Ontario.

“We’re thrilled that Markham Centre will be home to York University’s new campus,” said Christopher Bratty, President of Land Development for The Remington Group. “The addition of an institution of higher learning to the area is exciting. Students and staff will bring a different kind of energy to the already vibrant and diverse community that we’re building in Downtown Markham.”

York University Markham Centre, is anticipated to serve more than 4,000 students in its initial phase, and will be located just steps from the heart of Downtown Markham. The campus will be integrated into the Markham Pan Am Centre, providing a state-of-the-art multi-sports facility for students and the surrounding community.
